I am an intelligent woman; bright, witty, even funny at times.
I live in the lovely and very eclectic city of Portland, Oregon and I love it very much.
I am divorced but not broken and at 46, I am happy, content and trying desperately to live in the moment. Because this moment is exceptional!
I am a mom, a friend, at times a lover, and I am a runner.
Running is my love, it helps me breath, it helps me be, it helps me live honestly.
I write to maintain my sanity, the same reason I run.
Thanks for stopping by 🙂
You and I seem to have a lot in common. I have newly found a passion for running…after getting divorced. I have two blogs, one that chronicles my running (the one my comment links to) and one that chronicles the dating (pretty anonymous). I will be back!
Are you on RWOL, perchance? 😀
I am on RWOL but my user name is different 🙂
FR?
Thank you for stopping by my blog…running truly is spiritual for me. There is something about having the freedom to move that was lost to me for a very long time…and to be fortunate enough to get that back. I hope you are edging ever closer to getting to know yourself again. Been and interesting experience on my end. Take care.
I love your blog! I love how truthful you are and you, truly, inspire me in so many ways! Your beauty is inside and out and it shines through here!! So, in recognition of what an amazing person you are, I nominated you for the “Tell Me About Yourself” award. You can find the link here: http://theforgottenwife.com/2012/05/23/wow-twice-in-one-day/ Congrats, girl….and keep on runnin’!
Thank you for this! I just got this message emailed to me, or I would have thanked you earlier 🙂 You know how I feel about you, so this is very special to me! XOXO
You are the absolute bomb! The award was a no brainer! Thanks for sticking with me all these months! Couldn’t have done it without you!!!!
I was nominated for the One Lovely Blogger award and the rules included nominating a blogger I admire. You were tops on that list!!! So, here you go…another award for you….hugs!!!!

Happy Labor Day!
Thank you Jane, I’m honored by your nomination 🙂 I have been nominated before and I try to participate but time gets away from me! I will try again this time!! Thanks so much!
Chickie u know I’m a newbie runner….or wunner cuz I am still mostly walking. What does PDX mean? Love your not so secret admirer.
I love not-so-secret admirers 🙂 PDX stands for Portland. It’s the airport code for Portland Int’l – but we use it a lot out here in place of spelling the word out…you know since five more letters can be taxing.
I LOVE your screen name!!! Jigglybitch!!!! I’m a fan already!
If the name fits….:)! Thanks!
PDX, thanks for your comment on my blog. I read your *about me* and thought we are similar..then realized it is only our age. 😉 You’re in Portand, I am down south. You’re black, I’m white. You are divorced and I, well I’m a dozen years past divorced (now with the master). You run ALOT more than I do. Now you are my idol!! Your posts make me laugh! I’m a fan! It may take some time but I’m going to go back and read all your post. You’ll know when I have read each one.
Thank you 🙂 If you read all of my posts you’ll find a very different person in the beginning. Sad, angry, a little lost. I’ve come a long ways, though and it only gets better!! We certainly have enough in common to be friends! Thanks for stopping by!
I have nominated you for an award! Please see my last post:)
